• Shoutcast & Icecast Support — Streams must be MP3 type; AAC streams are also supported in browsers that support AAC. (Graphicfort)

• Server & Version Compatibility — Older versions of Shoutcast or Icecast might not function correctly for some features (e.g. history, metadata). Keeping server software updated is recommended. (Graphicfort)
• Browser Autoplay / Mixed Content — Browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox impose autoplay policies; using secure (HTTPS) streams is better. Also mixed HTTP/HTTPS requests may cause issues. (Graphicfort)
